英语对我们来说不像中文那样容易，因为中文是我们的母语，而英语是一门语言。所以我们在对英语的学习要难于中文，重要的除了学习，还要不断巩固和积累。
首先词汇量一定是基础，自考要求的词汇量4500左右，跟四级考试差不多，相对于高考的词汇量要求高一些。其次要理解句子、语法，更后才会上升到技能的层面。
*V——背单词*
1.反复记忆法
词汇不建议用单词书去背，按照字母表背单词的方法其实并不科学，单调枯燥，从abandon去背，没两天就abandon了，可以下载合适的单词软件，每天跟着系统进行英语打卡，能有效的帮助考生加强对单词的记忆。
2.词根词缀记忆法
例：
spi—
spect-
都表示“看”，比如inspect（视察、检查），introspect（反省、自我审查）
3.阅读记忆法
把单词放在语境里理解
例：pretend 假装—— She pretended to love me , but she did not.
4.联想记忆法
例：
chaos- n.混乱 联想读音“吵死”（但不能这么去读，该单词音标为/ˈkeɪɒs/）
chill -寒冷 后面两个l，可以联想为吃了两根冰棍
5.其他绝招
例：以维度去背
因为——because、on account of、for、since、due to......
（1）*S——句法*
常见的句子结构有以下几种：
①主语+谓语
②主语+谓语+宾语
③主语+系动词+表语
④主语+谓语+双宾语（间接宾语+直接宾语）
⑤主语+谓语+宾语+补语
句子的重点在于看懂，以上几种类型是句子主干，理解了句子主干，其他的修饰词、修饰语、从句就更好理解。碰上长难句也无需紧张，所谓长难句也都是由简单句构成，首先拆分，理解句子主干，阅读就理解了一大半。
（2）*G——主考语法*
主要考点：
①时态
（现在进行时、一般过去时、现在完成时.....）+ 语态（主被动）+语气（虚拟语气）
②从句
③非谓语动词（不定式、动名词、分词）
非谓语动词的种类很多，这里边不再一一列举，需要的考生可自行搜索查看。
